I really recommend you take a deep dive into Edgardo Pacheco’s book. It’s a goldmine of potential trips to little “aldeias” in the countryside and with the incoming good weather, a good place to get some ideas for a day trip. Moreover, you’ll be able to sample olive oils from the various regions and never have to fall back into the Gallo trap :) it’s money that is worth investing. With the same price of a bottle of wine you’ll be stocked in your pantry for a couple of months of salads, and stir fries :)
I had no idea there was such a variance in olive oils. It makes sense, I guess. If grapes in different regions taste differently, olives would too.

What language(s) is (are) the book written in? You speak (and write) so many. We speak so few 😆.
